Zucchero

Born Adelmo Fornaciari near Reggio Emilia, Italy, on September 25, 1955. Zucchero has always been a musician open to a wide range of musical of tastes. The classical and folk strains of his European homeland shaped him, along with rock 'n' roll, R&B and soul. Nicknamed Zucchero (Sugar) by a childhood teacher. —Courtesy Calabash Music
