Artist Name: Zoraida Santiago
Genre: Afro-Cuban
Country: Puerto Rico

Artist Bio:

Singer and composer Zoraida Santiago recently collaborated with Roy Brown on a beautiful set of duets they call Bohemia.

These tracks come from her own solo effort and are no less beautiful. Her recording of "Yo misma fui mi ruta" is particularly effective with only her voice set against traditional Puerto Rican percussion.

Zoraida Santiago has been a loyal defender of La Paz of Vieques, suffering jail to participate in an act of civil disobedience, faithful to her principles like an artist and citizen. —Courtesy Calabash Music
