Artist Name: Sol Bruguera
Genre: World Fusion, World Jazz
Country: Argentina

Artist Bio:

Sol Bruguera was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1963 into an artistically and musically oriented family. Her grandmother played the piano, her mother practiced classical Spanish dance, and her father was an architect and artist (painter and sculptor).

She began as a little girl to sing, dance and write, so, her family gave her the first guidelines in music and offered her guitar and singing lessons. All styles of music attracted her interest, especially jazz, and Argentine and Brazilian music.

In 1985, she came to Europe and dedicated herself entirely to music. She presents a vast repertoire from Latin jazz to tango, without forgetting the Argentine folklore, popular Latin music, bossa nova and salsa.

Sol Bruguera's songs tell about life's different stages and the thoughts of a wanderer among different cultures. She charms her audiences with her warm, dark voice and South American rhythms. —Courtesy Calabash Music
