Originating in Koudougou, in Mossi country, Saaba is one of the best performing arts troupes of traditional music and dance in Burkina Faso. Multiple prize-winners at the National Culture Week, Saaba's repertory is based on the Mossi language and culture, but also comprises songs, dances and rhythms from other ethnic groups. Their traditional songs relate to everyday events in the lives of Mossi and Burkinabe country folk.
