Artist Bio: 

Young, humble and soft spoken, Red Linso, is back with his second album, True or False. His first album, self-titled Red Linso, had hits like "Lavu Ya Muti," "Zigololo" and "Napaliweo" and gave him unbelievable popularity.

Red Linso has a comical way of expressing love; he has sometimes been referred to as "The queer communicator." This talent is certainly set to rock the Zambian music industry.

True or False is another must-listen love album.

The second born in the family of four brothers, Red Linso is from a very humble background with his parents being simple businesspeople.

He did his secondary schooling at Regiment Secondary School and completed at Hofmyre Secondary School in Eastern Province in Nyimba. He then pursued a computer software course.

"I started music in the early 1990s and released my first album, self-titled Red Linso in April 2004 with hit songs like "Lavu Ya Muti," "Zigololo" and "Napaliweo." Before this album I actually released a single called 'Dady.' "

Red has worked with other artists like Klaus Chisingo, MC Wabwino and Runnell. He has also worked with other projects like Assegal, the group that released an album called, Landilodi.

Who inspires Red?

"Life itself really inspires me! I'm also inspired by the old local artists like Paul Ngozi, Nashil Pitchen Kazembe and international artists like Youssour Ndour, Meiwey and Oliver Mtukudzi. These guys are really something!"
