Artist Name: Ok! Ryos
Genre: Polynesian String Bands
Country: Fiji

Artist Bio:

OK Ryos produces a delightfully laid-back sound that evokes the warm breezes of the South Pacific, with some influences of reggae and other music of the world.

Traditional without being folkloric, contemporary without losing its soul, the musical cocktail of OK Ryos charms our ears and our senses, bringing us for a moment to the lagoons and atolls of the South Pacific.

Originally from Maré, an island from the Loyalty Province of New Caledonia, they are certainly one of the most talented and most prolific bands in the country. Their songs, mainly sung in Nengone language, are true jewels of melody and vocal harmony, which have quickly seduced the New Caledonian audiences, as well as those from Vanuatu and Fiji.
