Genre: World Fusion
Country: Brazil, France

Artist Bio:

1986 at the Toulouse carnival. The fabulous troubadour Claude Sicre invited Osmar Macedo, a Brazilian musician. He came with his trio electrico and…his 20-year-old daughter, Rita. Rita felt in love with the pink city, and came back a few years after to settle down to study classical piano.

She met Francoise Chapuis and on a Claude Sicre's idea, they took the name of Femmouzes T. Since 1992, they've created an original repertoire and worked with various artists, such as the Lubat companies in Uzeste. International by nature, they have been touring throughout Europe, Africa and Canada.

In 2004, they participate at the Repentistas Festival of Fortazela (Brazil) and Funk Women Festival in various islands in Oceania. —Courtesy Calabash Music
