Artist Name: Digital Bled
Genre: World Fusion
Country: Algeria, Portugal

Artist Bio:

Digital Bled is an unlikely fusion of North African, Central European and Indian influenced electronica, composed of Parisian frontman DJ Pedro (real name Joao Pedro Veloso Rodrigues, originally from Portugal) and members of the Orchestre Nationale de Barbè, Arabian melodies deep from the Middle East sit side by side with the Brazilian sax of Glaucus Linx (who plays with Salif Keita), hip hop beats, dub and global rhythms. A mixture of street sounds with traditional sounds of southern countries best describes their new release Caravana.

Caravana is an incitement to a world dancefloor frenzy. The ingredients are a mixture of hip-hop and trip-hop tempos, with funk and dub atmospheres and a host of guest musicians and DJ's from Paris who have a wide variety of origins. —Courtesy Calabash Music
