Artist Name: Azymuth
Genre: World Jazz
Country: Brazil

Artist Bio:

Azymuth was formed in 1969 by the pianist and keyboard player José Roberto Bertrami, working with drummer Ivan Conte (better know as Mamao) and electric bassist Alexandre Malheiros.

At that time, the group was in the vanguard of an entire generation of musicians who were much in demand for studio sessions, especially backing MPB Stars. Jazz rock was the main influence of these musicians, but they had rarely succeeded in developing a common musical experience despite their great solo qualities .
