Jongo Le pays homage to the Afro-Brazilian culture and magically retraces the historical journey of Celso Machado's ancestors. Celso's boundless curiousity brought him into collaboration with Chinese pipa (lute) player Qiu Xia He. Since their first meeting they have been building on each other's compositions and improvising new territory.
