Review:

Daara J is a trio of hip hop rappers from Senegal, West Africa, whose music draws from both sides of the Atlantic to deliver a new kind of hip hop that is not about bragging and bling. Their sound combines positive raps—in Wolof, French and English— with a taste of rumba, a dash of ragga, and Spanish guitar slipped into several tracks. There are some guests here, too including Rokia Traore & Sergeant Garcia.
