On June 21st, Make Music New York held a live, free musical celebration that takes place each year on the summer solstice. Hundreds of public spaces throughout the five boroughs became impromptu stages for over 1,000 free concerts. Nat Geo Music was there capturing musical moments throughout the day.
Pop-Up Pianos were featured all over the five boroughs as an open invitation for all to sit down and play. This crochet-designed piano was located at the archway of the Manhattan Bridge in Brooklyn
