"We are a surf-punk-latin trio called Los Pirata, and we are from Brazil. We had our very first show in North America in Los Angeles in March 2009. We were also invited to perform at the famous SXSW (South by Southwest) Festival in Austin, Texas. We realized that we had two weeks in between gigs, so we decided to take a road trip contemplating the Wild West and, in doing so, get some inspiration for our new record.
