Thanks For Tuning In!
Thanks for tuning in to Nat Geo Music's historic live Earth Day concert from Rome!
According to police estimates, we had over 100,000 people packed into the historic Piazza del Popolo, on Wednesday, April 22nd, to watch headliners Ben Harper & Relentless7, Parisian afrofunksters Bibi Tanga & The Selenites, Nigerian diva Nneka and Italian rockers Subsonica.
Best of all, 100% of the event's carbon emissions will be offset by planting 1,000 trees this fall in Rome's Riserva della Valle dell'Aniene park, with help from our Italian partners Impatto Zero & LifeGate, who enable individuals and organizations to offset carbon emissions through tree-planting.
If you missed the show, check back with Nat Geo Music later this Spring for a reposting of the concert, and don't forget to check out our all-new Geo Session Ben Harper & Relentless7.
Thanks again for watching and we hope you had as much fun as we did!
