Xerramequ Tiquis Miquis is a young Catalan group that came together almost by accident. It started as an unassuming hobby for Marc Serrats (Xerramequ) and Marc Grau (Tiquis Miquis) in which musicians from other groups they knew joined in. The result was a fresh and open project offering a live show that draws on popular celebrations and dance for its inspiration. Lively, imaginative guitars, electric bases, voices of a thousand colors, accordions, fresh, infinitely poetic lyrics. And many elements drawn from popular Catalan culture, such as fragments of monologues by the comic Joan Capri or poems by Miquel Martí i Pol and Ovidi Montllor.
