Suzy was born and raised in Turkey but is now living in Israel. Suzy sings in Ladino, an old Judeo-Spanish language still spoken today by the Turkish, Greek and Bulgarian Jews whose ancestors lived in Spain during the 14th Century.

Suzy takes you on a musical journey through the places that the Sephardic Jews have been, carrying their beautiful Ladino culture with them. Her music is a combination of old authentic singing and layers of updated sounds and rhythms. —Courtesy Calabash Music
