Revolution

When people think of music from Cuba, the first thing that they think of is the Buena Vista Social Club. But the sound of the streets of Havana is quite different. Influenced by the sounds coming out of Miami such as reggaeton and hip hop, a new sound is emerging? the sound of the Revolution. Teaming a large collective of Cuban musicians with world class vocalists and producers like Roison Murphy of Moloko, Guy Sigworhth, Cuban expat hip hop act Orishas, Norman Cook and Poet Named Life amongst others they create a sound as true to Cuba's musical heritage as it is to what the kids are listening to on the street.
