The New Quintet is a collaboration of Babik Reinhardt and Romane. After years of encounters, meetings, and other crossings, they joined to form a modern version of the mythical Quintette created by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.

Leaning on their extremely rich past and artistic and instrumental creativeness, Romane and Babik Reinhardt understand one other marvelously and manage to transcend the inheritance inspired by their respective musicals experiences.

More than an interpretation, it is above all about a re-reading, an appropriation and certain contribution to the evolution of this musical register.
