The voices of the Saharauis women express the emotional charge accumulated in their many years of suffering in exile. The voices of Mariem Hassan, Teira Lebid and Hadhum Abeid join with the more modern, cheerful and lighter young voices of Aziza Brahim, Serguela Abdi and Naha Salec. Between these two groups of women we have such splendid singers as Embarec and Faknash Abeid.
This is a recording that respects their traditional music. The basic instruments used are the tindinit, the tbal and electric and acoustic guitars.
