Lena Timas was born in Cape Verde and performed at various local spots. Her music is traditional Cape Verde, and she has a voice that you will fall in love with.

A native of the island of Santo Antão, Lena is also influenced musically by Fantcha, Tony Azevedo and Danny Carvalho. She started taking music seriously in the late-'90s. She previously collaborated with singers such as Lutchinha, Vuca Pinheiro, Tony Lopes, and Tony Neves.
