Kan'Nida

The group Kan'nida from Guadeloupe (Saint-Anne commune) are the musical expression of the Grands Fonds region, a region of Grande-Terre, where, following the abolition of slavery, a self-sufficient peasant society developed, surrounded by sugar cane plantations.
