In 1990, Roger Fixy brought out his first record, Cuban percussion, with the group Iluyenkori. Songs, "Toques Secos" (pieces for unaccompanied bata drums) and three very traditional rumbas were on the program. His second album was a "tribute to Yemaya and Oshun." Although most of the members of the group have changed, its international character is still there, the musicians including a drummer from Réunion on the bata, an Italian female vocalist, a French pianist and an Argentine saxophonist.
