Founded in 1999, Giu il Cappello is an Italian band that plays original compositions inspired by different folk sounds from all over Italy and Eastern Europe. Arrangements range from ethnic music to rock, blues and jazz.

The band has a very strong live act that could just as easily be found in big festivals, theatres, or an impromptu street performance.
