Pastor George Okudi is a natural musician and a direct product of African art and culture. A born-again Christian who also holds the title of best male artist on the continent of Africa (2003 KORA Awards, Johannesburg, South Africa), he is also the pastor of a church in Kampala.
Having grown up in urban and rural environments, George says he was able to take advantage of both lifestyles and created a music that blends African cultural music with modern art and technology.
With a strong religious background, one would expect the religious message to disrupt the success of his music in the secular world where it is not highly celebrated.
