Black Rose

Black Rose is without a doubt the most popular Fijian group in the Pacific. They combine traditional rhythms and songs with modern arrangements contributed by David Leroy, alias "Daddy DJ".

The album Voices of Nature has made these musicians famous in their country. The title track, "Raude," which was the subject of a LinkTV music video, has since become a hit in Fiji and seems sure to have a great future. —Courtesy Calabash Music
