With this three-volume set, the Mexican distributor Discos Corason produced an amazing collection of African-inspired music in the Americas. Included is music from Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Antigua, Nicaragua, Brazil, Panama, and even blues and jazz from the United States. Most of the music comes from field recordings where the music is performed today.
