This week, our favorite Brooklyn-based Dubstep Punk Rocker, Santigold brings us her video for the first single "Big Mouth"; off her upcoming sophomore album, Master of My Make Believe due out this spring.
Directed by Cody Critcheloe, Santi calls out all trash-talkers on "Big Mouth" with a schoolyard taunt melody backed by an explosive carnival beat that will shake the streets from Bed-Stuy to Bahia.
Santigold, has become a unique and inspiring figure on today's musical landscape. Santigold's eponymous 2008 album established her internationally as one of the most exciting and fearless artists to emerge in the last decade. The album was widely praised for its genre-defying sound and instantly memorable melodies and earned her fans and collaborators from Jay-Z and The Beastie Boys to David Byrne, Major Lazer, DJ Diplo, M.I.A. and more.
