Brazilian crooner Seu Jorge will be touring selected North American cities in May and June. Jorge will be previewing this tour with three April gigs: one at New York's Irving Plaza, the second in Miami Beach, and the final at California's Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival.

Jorge is best known for his appearance in Wes Anderson's 2004 film, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, where he sang breezy bossa nova versions of David Bowie classics in Portuguese. But Jorge made his international debut in the Brazilian film City of God, where he played the reluctant gangster Knockout Ned.

In 2005, Jorge released two albums: his American debut Cru (Wrasse) and The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions (Hollywood). He is expected to perform material from both albums and more while on tour.
