Watch Nat Geo Earth Day Concert Live From Rome

Nat Geo Music Presents Ben Harper & Relentless7 In Live Webcast & Broadcast

Nat Geo Music is throwing an Earth Day Party and you're invited. This year, to celebrate Earth Day, National Geographic is teaming up with Ben Harper & Relentless 7 and other environmentally-conscious artists for a free live concert in Rome's famed Piazza del Popolo.

The historic square will be lit up with music from Harper – who will be playing cuts from his upcoming release, White Lies for Dark Times, due out May 5th – as well as Parisian afrofunksters Bibi Tanga & The Selenites and Italian rockers Subsonica.

Best of all, 100% of the event's carbon emissions will be offset by planting 1,000 trees this fall in Rome's Riserva della Valle dell'Aniene park. Because that's how Nat Geo Music rolls – Earth Day, and every day (with special thanks to our Italian partners Impatto Zero & LifeGate, who enable individuals and organizations to offset carbon emissions through tree-planting).

The concert takes place on Wednesday April 22nd beginning at 8 p.m. in Italy (2 p.m. EST), and will air live on the Nat Geo Music channel internationally. It will also be webcast live on www.natgeomusic.net, in the United States and www.natgeotv.com/earthday internationally.

Don't miss it!
