Baaba Maal Schedules Special U.S. Appearances

Senegalese Superstar Announces Mix Of Live Performances And Television & Radio Dates

Senegalese singer and star of the world stage Baaba Maal returns to the U.S. this October for a series of special appearances in New York and Los Angeles in celebration of his brand new, highly acclaimed album Television.

These shows are a unique opportunity to hear Baaba Maal speaking about contemporary African society and to gain an insight into some of the most pressing issues as he sees them.

Eight years since the release of his last album, Baaba Maal will enthrall audiences in a return to late night TV with a performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on October 13th. He will perform the album's title track, "Television," which will also be featured as KCRW's "Today's Top Tune" on September 23.

Then, tune in as Baaba Maal is interviewed and performs for KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic (October 6), NPR's World Café (October 14) and WNYC's Soundcheck (October 15).
