Los Jubilados follow up on their early success with this second album, which has even more force and swing, as Cuban musicians say, than the first. Although four of the band are respected composers of son, they chose to record a repertoire of 13 classics from their youth which they play with a very personal style that is clearly identified with them and has not yet been imitated by any of the younger bands. — CalabashMusic.com |
