All the great singer – songwriters of the golden era are present on this double album. We can hear Murolo »s version of « Autunno » by the great patriot and playwright Libero Bovio ; « Canzone Appassionato » and « O Vascio » by the prolific signor tutto, E.M. Mario, who composed over 2000 songs ; and some of Murolo's own compositions, such as Torna Pulcinella, the theme song of the film « Three Steps North ». Listening to this record, it is easy to see why Murolo was given such a touching and unanimous homage at his death in March 2003. A whole century of Neapolitan song lives on in these 37 tracks
