Inspired by music from Africa and Caribbean, Indian ragas, Celtic jigs and reels, and artist like Trilok Gurtu, Afro-Celt Sound System, Santana, David Byrne and Paul Simon to name a few, this music is driven by rich rhythmic textures, weaving polyrhythmic grooves, deep percussive flavors, while tapping into a jazzy ethnic sound. Colorful melodies and grooves are drawn from folkloric and contemporary Afro-Cuban, African, Brazilian rhythms with MIDI percussion and electronic elements.

Ido's intention is that perhaps upon hearing this type of cooperation and synergy that we may be inspired to reach out, find what makes us more alike than different; to find our common sound, our common song, our common humanity.
